Data Retention and Destruction Policy

Storage of contract contents depends on your choice. Keeping a document in your account and deleting contents after downloading a PDF are different actions.

Retention periods

• Account storage: contract contents and PDFs remain encrypted until content deletion is performed. There is no automatic 30-day deletion commitment.
• Deletion after download: both parties must confirm saving their PDF copy, then the owner separately confirms deletion of the contract contents and server PDF.
• Verification: document hashes and server record time remain after content deletion. This time is not a qualified timestamp.
• Sign-in codes: valid for 5 minutes; the code record is deleted after successful verification.

Account deletion

You can submit an account closure request from your account page. This does not mean every record is immediately physically erased. Content deletion and retention of verification records are separate actions; use our contact channel for other deletion requests.
