mahr is a technical service recording declarations and approvals. Its documents do not include official identity verification or qualified electronic signatures. Ask a professional to assess the legal effect in your specific circumstances.

Currently we record the document hash and the server record time. This time is not a qualified timestamp verified by an independent provider. An independent RFC 3161 timestamp service is not available yet.

Yes. The server processes contents; stored contract contents and PDFs are encrypted with server-managed keys. There is no end-to-end encryption. Keep contents in your account or choose deletion. Both parties must confirm saving their PDF copy, then the owner separately confirms deletion. Verification hashes and activity records remain.

Prompt (muʿajjal) is paid immediately; deferred (muʾajjal) is paid later or when the marriage ends. See our guide for details.

We do not ask for ID copies, selfies or video. Sign in using an email code or your account password. Verifying email access is not official identity verification.

No. We do not hold or transfer money, nor sell investment or insurance. mahr is only a record and proof tool.

An approved document is preserved. To change its contents, create a new draft and obtain new approvals. Contents deleted under your storage preference cannot be downloaded again.

No. We do not issue fatwas or engage in sectarian debate. Religious information is conveyed only with reference to competent authorities.
