No. mahr produces a record based on the parties’ statements, approved by both and timestamped. It is not an “official document,” but it can serve as evidence that may be submitted to a court. We avoid claims like “official document,” “legally binding,” or “replaces a notary.”

A trusted electronic timestamp records your document’s digest (hash) at a specific moment, so that “this content existed on this date and hasn’t changed” is technically provable.

No. Contract content (amounts, names, free text) is not stored on our servers. We keep only the document’s digest and its timestamp. Keep your PDF safe.

Prompt (muʿajjal) is paid immediately; deferred (muʾajjal) is paid later or when the marriage ends. See our guide for details.

No. We do not ask for ID copies, selfies, or video. Sign-in is by email verification (OTP) only.
